I dunno why anyone thought that after a two year layoff where he moonlighted in an entirely different sport and came back to face his biggest threat was going to be anything but a sub par performance. Ring rust is a killer.

That said, Khabib would beat Conor like 8-9 times out of 10.

People were banking on his footsteps and sharp counter, which were no where to be found on fight night.
 
Seems to me that a lot of Conor's game disappeared because of the kind of pressure fighter he was fighting and the dangerous TD+GnP game he knew was going to seriously dmg any chance he had at winning.

Don't be disappointed in Conor for footwork, marvel at the man he had to deal with and the fact that at times he did pretty well (yes he got mauled - but i guess it could have been worse).

I'd say the shot Khabib landed on the feet was more of the 'disappointment' if you wanna go somewhere because that was Conor's wheelhouse (he was beat up pretty bad by this point however).

Woodly is gonna eat Colby...so yea better pick a third son...

Like I stated in another post. I'm disappointed by everything Conor did other than fighting off relatively well off of Khabib's takedown attempt.

I already knew how good khabib was before and this fight didn't change my perspective on him other than that he is deceptively fast at times.

Colby melts Woodley. It's inevitable.

I have been on Colby bandwagon since RDA ya bum.

Conor will always be my boy, but he needs time to re-evaluate himself.

I still love Conor and will always root for him, but I need to see him getting his shit together. until then, he will have wait at the bench, watching Colby making WW great again.
