Yes, that would be 2 top LW wins for Dustin since his title fight. And should place him as the number 1 contender. Which is exactly what I said, and you replied to.

1 top LW win by Conor 2.5 years later is not enough to merit a rematch. It’s just not, and anybody that isn’t a Conor hugger knows that.

2-3 top wins is my criteria to earn a rematch. Especially since the first fight was not even close. You have to earn it, and actually give people proof that there’s even a reason to think it might be competitive. Otherwise what is the point?

But, tbh.. Neither guy has a holy hope in hell of beating Khabib and we all know it. But, if you’ve earned it, then it is only right.

I appreciate your reply and find parts of it insightful, but I truly believe a rematch with Conor and khabib is 50/50 and I think Conor can take it. But like Dana says, we'll have to wait and see what happens haha

Every GOAT has rematches on his belt. Khabib needs to pick a rematch and we all know which one would be best, specially if Conor delivers an impressive performance and makes it look easier than Khabib did.

Usually a rematch happens when a close fight warrants one. Khabib hasn't had any close fights.

Irrelevant. Rematches dynamics change. Once you experience a style you can make adjustments better and Conor makes the best adjustments.
