Same height AND same weight? I'd go with GSP. Romero's wrestling is top notch, but GSP's is the best ever. He'd know that standing and trading with Romero would probably means that he would get K.O., so he'd drag Romero on the ground, and work on him from there.
IMO, if Bobby Knuckles can do it, GSP can do it.

Yoel is very inactive offensively and waits for his opponent to make a mistake before he hits you with a Cuban missle. Prime GSP could jab him to a decision, but it would be incredibly boring and he would take next to risks. Maybe an explosive double leg at the end of a round to seal it. If you don't think GSP could win, you're crazy.

I think GSP does very well. Remember Weidman vs Romero? Weidman took Yoel down and was largely outwrestling him, he was winning handedly until the knee in the last round.

Everyone likes to act as though Yoel is some unbeatable monster, but it’s not true. Other than his explosive bursts during fights, he’s almost always losing those fights. GSP is the master of shitting guys down from doing that crap.
