Valentina looked worse, and showcased her bad fight IQ.

About Nunes tho, did she hurt herself in the fight or something? Is she still asking for shitletot?
 
I didn't think she looked good either. Lost that 3rd round for sure.

It's a tough spot for her to be in because if Holly were still champ, Nunes should have been next in line. However with all the Ronda rematch bullshit, Ronda leaps over everyone so Nunes either fights Holly, or no one because there's pretty much no one left in that dead division. UFC really let it fall apart.
 
She was quick and showed good reflexes in the first, but she tanked.
 
She gasses every fight, but can get ahead of/finish anyone in the division. As long as she keeps winning she deserves to fight for the belt.
 
Doesn't matter. The person she fought was dumb as shit.

Wasn't her best performance but she still pulled off the win. Since we know the UFC is giving the next shot to Ronda, I think they should match Amanda vs Holly. If Amanda can improve her cardio she has a decent chance. I'd like to see that fight she and Holly are same height and reach.
 
I agree TS. Her gas tank needs work. And shame on Valentina. She had every opportunity to capitalize in the 3rd and instead shadow boxed in front of her. I think one time she literally just did a spin not even throwing anything out there.
 
i dont think she looked good but going off of credentials she was in there with a badass bitch

that chicks striking experience and record looks legit
 
She always runs out of gas. Her having gas for 2 full rounds was already decent for her, but she usually finishes in her wins before we can see the tank.
 
She didn't impress me at all, barely engaged in the first and then looked spent in the 3rd, would rather see how Cat goes and give her the shot.

Her gas tank is embarassing for a top level fighter. She's 135lbs, not a HW.

Yeah... "let it fall part".

They just made stars out of Holly Holm and Meisha Tate, neither of whom, any casual fan knew about 5 months ago.

Now they have PPV worthy matches Rousey-Tate 3, Rousey-Holm 2, Tate-Holm 2 to make.

Amanda Nunes is the clear 4th fighter in the division, then Julianna Peña after that who was the TUF winner.

Before it was Rousey and a cleaned out division (with Holm looking bad in her wins). Now it's the strongest the division has ever been. Not that PPVs are the only measure, but women's 135 has a lot more PPV potential than the mens' 135.
 
"Fall apart" as in there's hardly anyone in the division. I don't even know if there's any scheduled fights in the division right now.
 
Yet she beat one of Sherdog's hype trains. I love it.
 
Tate would beat her. She would survive an early storm and grind her way to a victory.
I'd love to see Nunes knocking out Rousey though.
Not a big chance but possible.
