I know I'm likely to regret posting about this here, but for those with too much free time or an odd desire to see all there is to see on the internet, I started up a blog about my (lack of) experience with BJJ.

Hoping to update it bi-weekly, so like most blogs I'll post something new once every other month for about a year, then six months for a post after that, and then I'll abandon the whole thing altogether.

Lol, definitely not my intent. I'm guessing I listened to too much whiny music in my formative years and consequently much of what I write comes across much more miserable than I intend.

Do you see see the irony? You're complaining about not being as good at bjj because of laziness and playing video games when you should be training, yet you're writing a blog about it instead of watching tape or studying techniques or going to class.

I read the main page on your blog. To be honest, it wasn't a very good read for me. Someone who spends that much time away from BJJ, and then claims to love BJJ, well, I don't know how to address that.

I've only missed classes when I was hurt. I have this recurring injury. Don't know how I got it. Well, I think I do know how I got it.

Maybe it's a scheduling thing. I go right after work. Do you go right after work. If you go home first, you got all these distractions. Hyou really have to be motivated to go home and then go train. Just like going home first, and then going to the gym. Same thing.

Good luck on the Blog, and I hope to read things in the future like you making great success.

Enough blogging and more training. If you actually loved jiu jitsu, you would show up to class more often. Missing a month for every week you've been going....are you the guy who asks mad questions about techniques that have been taught numerous times?

Unplug your TV.
Video games, advertisements, tv shows are addictive. Just unplug it.

The reply above was right. Go straight to jiu jitsu after work. Don't go home.

Don't be the guy that shows up and talks about how good you could be if you just came more often.

You can do it. Start with unplugging your TV right now.

Painful read tbh. If you were honest with yourself, you'd admit that you don't love BJJ at all, you just like the idea of being somebody who trains BJJ.
