You know what, I'm not even gonna laugh at him for this. Often times whenever someone goes on a social media "rant," like DC did, and Weidman tends to do, we all make fun and say, "hah hah! he got emotional!"
But you know what? This is exactly how I would be if I were a fighter. I would look exactly like Weidman and DC. If another fighter said something to me that needed to be addressed, I'm going to systematically cover it and break them down. I'm going to state my case, give examples, and explain logically and coherently why I'm right, and why they are wrong.
But it'll look "emotional" to everyone.
Not sure how and why it came to be that a relatively long, carefully crafted post/thread, equates to "emotional." So you'd rather have 8 words, full of shorthand, under the thin veil of having a carefree attitude? (e.g. "lol, his post was short and witty. look how few fucks he gives! he's so cooool! what a dreamboat").
All Weidman is doing here is addressing another man. Why is that "emotional" or "gotten to?" Why is a RANT anytime someone writes more than a paragraph explaining their thoughts and opinions? We have a lot of words at our disposal in the English language, to carefully, and precisely articulate the thoughts inside our head holes. Why is it wrong to use those words?
And yes I'm emotional.
