I don't like the shift away from "where the best fight the best" to money fights, but I don't really mind the Lesnar - Cormier matchup based on the fact that the heavyweight division is so weak and lacking stars.

Honestly, is there some other heavyweight who people are dying to see fight Cormier?

If the UFC can work it so Cormier fights Lesnar and have Jon Jones fight the winner, either fight would be hugely popular and still a good payoff for the hardcores.

Cormier/Jones 3 at light heavyweight? Meh. At heavyweight? Yeah, that's interesting. And a massive Lesnar against a phenom like Jones is a fantastic freak show matchup
