I know this isn't going to be received well on here but honestly I get that it was Fedor and half of Sherdog would brush their teeth with his jizz, but it really not okay to point out that it was only Frank Mir; a guy who hasn't fought in 2 years and was knocked out in the first round of that fight too.
I guess it's really not okay to point out that although he got right back up Fedor got dropped by range tester punches.

No, the embarrasing part is the haters who don't get it that "we" (fans of Fedor) are just genuinely happy to see Fedor knock out Mir in a fight that he was supposed to lose.

Ok so an 8 year out of prime Fedor should have done better than finish mir the fastest he got finished in his pro career. GTFO

Most people here, prior to the fight, thought that Mir was gonna beat Fedor. Obviously based primarily on Fedor's last fights. That's a fact.

That's fair enough.

But he's a 41 year old guy years past his prime who beat another guy years past his best. And that guy has already been finished early many many times.

Threads stating that hes back and one of the top 10 heavies in the world and even a threat to Miocic is the embarrassing bit.

I'm fairly certain Fedor has been a better fighter than Mir their entire career and you add to that a losing skid followed by a 2 year layoff and that somehow makes a fighting favourite?
People call Matt Mitrione "Meathead" because I think Evans did and forget that he's actually a pretty decent fighter.
In any case some on here, possibly you included, are so caught up in being a fan of someone they can't be subjective.
I've never been a fan of Fedor's early work, but his fights from say Coleman on have been impressive.
