News Yan vs Sterling, March, UFC 259.

I'm surprised they're tripling down on an Adesanya card. 258 is the one that needs the help.

Dana said Fig/Moreno would be April or May.

Zhang & Volkanovski need to defend their belts, 1 should be co-main to Usman & the other co-main to Stipe/Ngannou.

Maybe 260 does get all 3 of Stipe, Volk, & Zhang, but 258 needs some help.

258 is gonna be Usman/Burns and Volk/Ortega

259 in March the 3 title fights

260 Stipe/Ngannou

That leaves Fig/Moreno, Zhang/Rose or Carla and Val/Andrade

261 though not sure what they do. Since WBW and MW with those champs fighting in different divs they wont be defended and by the looks of it no matter what happens with LW it wont be ready to go till probably summer.

So I could see Zhang/Rose main eventing 261 with Val/Andrade in double womens card or Fig/Moreno under it and you put Val/Andrade under HW title fight at 260.

Sterling is better than Yan everywhere and makes this look easy.

I believe Volk/Ortega is in the works for UFC 258, make sense seeing as a FW championship has been the co-main to a WW championship the past 2 times
I thought that too but then I saw Volk did an interview saying they couldn't do it in February for some reason I forget, but they were looking at March.

ah yeah, I did see that interview. My mistake.
I guess 258 is gonna struggle then

I'm a huge UFC President Dana White fan, but if he's going to charge me more for PPV's THIS is the type of cards I expect in return

War UFC, can it be March 6th already?

Great. There will always be doubters.

Yan is training American Top Team for this fight.

I wasn't aware of that. A shame he wasn't able to return to Dagestan. Still, ATT is a quality gym with some decent grapplers of its own.

great card, but megan anderson fighting for the belt is a joke. islam makachev is a proven pull out merchant whos probably not gonna make it into the octagon, again. interested in seeing how cruz comebacks, but i think his best days are behind him. overall the card is a solid 7/10

If injury and covid bug stays away, this is another card worthy of having the gang over for and everyone chipping in 7 bucks. Not just streaming and hoping it doesn't crash

yes so glad Sterling didn't get passed over and this fight got resigned .
Looking forward to it although I would hate to see either guy lose but I also don't mind seeing either guy as champ .

Don't care for the nunes fight but damn even the undercard is good
