News Yan speaks about Arlovski, his mom and pull ups

I remember some Russian mma fans wrote that the reason Dagestani people doesn't like Yan (in teh Internet) (and some non-Caucasus mma fans too) is because Yan remind them your average Dagestani "братишка" that just trapped in this Russian-Chinese-Georgian body. Like, he talks a lot of shit, gets mad/offended for reasons nobody can understand (case with Arlovski), posts/reposts some strange/silly stuff on social media. Also, I think majority of Russian fighters when guys from Caucasus talk shit to them either ignores them or are trying to play gentlemans while Yan just answers with same shit.

The reason Dagestanis don’t like Petr Yan is because he posted xenophobic Russian ethnonationalist rhetoric, which is a bit ironic considering his paternal grandfather is Chinese.

That's interesting, because I just listened to a Nemkov interview and when he was asked about that Fedor/kid fighting debacle he pretty much "сжал очко" as well. Is Fedor the only ethnic Russian who is not cucking to kavkaz? What's going on? Why are you paying tribute to barbarians and look at the floor when insulted and threatened?
Sorry dude, can't comment on such topics or my Chechen overlord will send my ass to "зиндан" for a week as a punishment.
I dunno, maybe noone wants to offens Caucasus guys in mma scene, like I think aside from RCC and M-1 all other (more or less big) promotions belongs to Dagestani or Chechen owners. And well, M-1 has a close and good relationship with Ingushetian politics. And I remember reading that Fedor's MMA Union was biased towards Dagestani people, like they was choosing Dagestani fighters to represent different Russian regions, and it was kinda funny seeing that Magomeds and Sultans are representing pretty much all Russia (from South to north and from west to the East) in amateur competitions.

At every weight class? Because it seems they're usually pretty short and light (aside from Isaev).
Just odd seeing there bogatyrs who can crush these manlets bow down to them.

Didn't know of that. I remember he was kinda hated by Dagestani fans back in ACB days. Maybe because he won against their bright prospect Magomedov and was making fun/talking trash about him (while training in Dagestan, if I remember it correctly).
I also remember seeing comments on social media from Dagestani guys after he was signed by UFC that he is gonna fail his drug tests, he is gonna get whooped and stuff like that.

- How about running? How fast can you run a distance?
- 20-something minutes for 4km. (2.5 miles)

Wow I'm 41 years old and can beat a UFC champion at running (and I'm only running months)

If I remember it right -- Malykhin become kinda famous few years ago as first non-Caucasus amateur mma champion (Russian champion but maybe my memory sucks and it was about him being first Ethnic Russian world champion). And if I remember story right -- he was Taktarov's guy and Taktarov somehow pushed/convinced Fedor to give him a chance since it seems Fedor wanted another Dagestani guy.
I think there is some big guys from out there who moved to pro, current amateur World HW champ is Dagestani Паша Хархачаев, for example.

I don't recall ever seeing xenophobia from Yan. Post your source plz.

Thanks bro @Hotora86

Always interesting to read these interviews!
The guy asking Yan about things like his deadlift and stuff was admittedly strange, but i must say i find it interesting nonetheless!

I think he;s massively under selling himself, he'd be pretty strong, at least 150kg (330)
