The line has shifted in favor of Yan, who is now listed at -300, while Figueiredo is +240. This seems like a much closer fight than the odds would indicate. Yan is not the same guy who battered Aldo 4 years ago. I got this as an even fight - what say you?

I thought the same personally. Also Fig likely has a big advantage on ground if it goes there. Id have Yan as a smaller favorite. I speculate that part of the odds come from the fact that Yan is more likely to win anything close in a decision given he has roots to China.

Seems like the money is coming in on Yan and not on Fig.

I think it's essentially a pick em fight, but I do favor Yan slightly.

Figgy would have a much better chance to win in a 3 round fight, this one is 5. I don't think his gas tank is going to hold up the longer this goes, especially at his age.

I grade Yan's submission defense pretty high especially considering how much time he had to fight off Sterling backpacking him. I think if Figgy tries to control Yan he could win a round or two but it is going to be at a significant cost to his gas tank.

I think Fig finishes him. I also think this will be a five round fight, but I'm too lazy to verify.

Everytime I think that a fight should be a coinflip but has one as a heavy favourite the underdog loses. They are also always the older guy. I thought that would be the case with Max vs Topuria. I see Yan having the size advantage and youth. But Figgy was impressive against Cody.

I just decided to parlay Figgy and Xiaonan Yan pays 5.3 times your money.
