That's what she saidNo interest, too small.
Why do all you neckbeards get boners over the strawweight division then? For me, the lesser amount of enthusiasm I have for that division actually has zero to do with height.
It's the perceived lack of "danger" and risk when I watch individuals from that division fight.
I just don't get the nervous anticipation that something absolutely devastating can happen at any moment, even though it can, and has.
Not really fair to bring up his numbers. Between Bagautinov/Cariaso/Horiguchi/Dodson, only one of those is known by casuals (sort of), and that was after he was buried by three enormous shovels of dirt by fans and the media. He was set-up to fail from the get-go. It would be like headlining a PPV with Joanna vs Letorneau and then the media posting some huge story about the fight doing shit numbers and how this proves no one cares about her, etc. She would be branded with the same stigma as Johnson in that scenario. Lots of fighters would. If DJ did anything wrong, it was answering the phone when a fight fell apart and they needed a PPV headliner. He and his division weren't ready to be put in that position yet and it totally fucked him in the long run.Mouse is awesome. Most people don't realize it because he doesn't talk a lot of shit.
This is a grand experiment to see how long a fighter can dominate his weight class while still remaining outside the view of the PPV buying casuals.
I expect when he gets his record over Anderson Silva that he might move up a weight class & how can such thingz be ignored?
We'll see. Realistically, he could move up & dominate yet another weight class & still not be able to sell more than 100,000 PPV's. It's a shame the casualz don't recognize what he bringz.
First of all... it's an honor to hang with 100K posts dude. <cheer>Not really fair to bring up his numbers. Between Bagautinov/Cariaso/Horiguchi/Dodson, only one of those is known by casuals (sort of), and that was after he was buried by three enormous shovels of dirt by fans and the media.
If he was a HW he would be fighting people that casuals have heard of because that division hasn't changed in 20 years.First of all... it's an honor to hang with 100K posts dude. <cheer>
No one knew who waz in the FW division either till Conor got there. They didn't get famous on their own account. The heart of my post waz saying that Mouse gets no attention cause he talks no sh*t.
A lot of the guyz in Mouse'z division could be more famous than they are... (they are to me... but I'm talking about to the casualz)
To your point though... if mouse waz a HW... with the same record... he could probably have the same personality & be completely famous... ie... Fedor. Also, Jones was kind of the same & it took a long time for people to warm up to him enough to buy PPV's. Then he turned it all around & started talking sh*t with DC... & his numbers exploded.

No one at flyweight moves like Johnson. Even Dodson was speedfucked by him. Dude was stuck in the mud in the rematch. Not hard to have cat-like reflexes when you're the actual size of a cat
Maybe next year you will be able to contribute to a discussion.I still don't care.
