I love how this dork was made to look like the complete idiot that we all knew he was.

he brings up "shinya aoki" like shinya aoki was actually some kind of skilled fighter.

You are a moron.

@The Natural Born Runner how you feeling about this thread now lol :)
This is how I feel:

There is a stereotype amongst Sherbros that Conor McGregor fans by large are relatively new to the sport and do not watch much else MMA wise other than him. This point is being proven by the minute, since the announcement of his fight with Eddie Alvarez.

Y'all really never seen Eddie have you? Perhaps 1 or 2 of his fights, right?
I stand by this stereotype.

You never see these Conor fans ever talk about anything else. They ran and hid when Diaz won, and then they cheered the Conor SD win like he KO'd Diaz, just false narratives. Has a great win over Eddie and they are back in full force. Just remember your boy got choked out less than 8 months ago, and remember that there are some other fighters on the roster you can cheer for, not just one guy.

I also stand by the fact that Conor fans had no idea of who Eddie was/is. They did not follow his career and now just think he's a bum who's "not in Conor's league" which is just ludicrous. He fought dumb, he lost bad, simple.

These people are not MMA fans, they are hypebeasts.

Michael Chandler? Shinya Aoki? Those names mean anything to you? ... Nah, I didn't think so.
It remains to be true, the amount of people who have shit on Shinya on this thread just shows how many Zuffa Zombies there still are.

Japan just doesn't count, Bellator is non-existent. That is their mindset.

- The guy has KO power in both hands.
True.

- Crisp, technical boxing.
He does, when he's not rocked and flailing all over the shop. Conor has the better boxing, and he proved that. I will accept the L on this one.

- Solid wrestling, with very good ability to control from the top position.
True.

- Underrated and sneaky BJJ, takes the back very easily.
True.

- Cardio for days, looks the same in rounds 4 and 5 as the first round.
- Heart for days. Let you knock him down or rock him, if his body lets him he'll keep coming.
True, and true. The shot that KO'd Dustin, Aldo and Chad didn't KO Eddie. Eddie kept getting up even when it was past recovery. He got stumbled/dropped 5-6 times, and eventually had nothing left.

People keep saying that Conor will defeat him with ease on the feet...

You do know Eddie's chin is probably just as good as Nate Diaz, you know Nate, the guy that Conor couldn't put away in almost 35 minutes of fighting?

Conor has a chance, he always does when it's standing, but stop talking about Eddie Alvarez like you even know who he is or have followed his career at all.
I take the L on this. Conor made it look easy. I think Eddie does have a good chin, but I think if anyone takes those shot of clean, full power shots they are hitting the canvas. His issue was his defensive skill, he showed zero.

I watched MMA before Conor was even fighting. I just really like his fighting style and it's funny how he riles people up. You don't know every Conor fan lol

You may have seen him lose to Cerrone, his boring win over Pettis or even the dos Anjos TKO...

Michael Chandler? Shinya Aoki? Those names mean anything to you? ... Nah, I didn't think so.

Just for educational purposes, Eddie Alvarez has it fucking ALL!

WA WA.....WAAAAA

Badum!

I've seen a decent amount of Eddies fights but you'll have to remind me, in which fight does he display 'crisp, technical boxing'?

That douche got 51 likes for his OP, too. Sums up Sherdog to a T. Most MMA fans don't know about technique and just pick fights based off of hype and emotion.

I argued with a few tards weeks leading up to the fight about Eddie's rudimentary boxing. How he's a simple brawler who's always off balance and Conor will light him up. Not to mention the huge gulf in reach between the two. I was told I'm a casual and know nothing about MMA.

This is simple 5th grade shit. Proof that MMA hardcores are the people you SHOULDNT listen to if you're a betting man.

Their prefrontal cortex never fully developed.

i had mcgregor,im a fan, been watching since the mid 90's.Not all conner fans are casuals

Don't bother. Conor could be matched up with a prime Mike Tyson and they would say Conor by KO rd 1.

Most of them just repeat his phrases. Every thread I open has the same content being repeated for a while now. It's become so boring just like his trash talk.
You know what else was boring. Eddie's effort. Might as well have just called in sick. But hey at least we got this.

Aoki got KO'd by a tranny. That's all anyone needs to know about him.:)

Did you seriously just call me out on a two month old post?

The fight was exciting, the trash talking game is still boring most of the time.
