Dana's response will be to stop Kevin Iole from blowing him for a minute, and for Iole to write an article disputing that Fitch and Okami are legitimately top ten.

Just read the article, and it's spot on.

The NBA doesn't get rid of Tim Duncan because he's boring or plays in a small market. If your the premiere organization in a sport, you want the best fighters in it period.

Likewise MMA, which has been through the ringer to establish legitimacy is still essentially a cult sport, and cutting your top 6 guy or woman or team in any sport, exposes you to global ridicule across the non zuffa press, from anyone who has actually heard of you in the first place.

Moves like this make one question why they even have a ranking system if they're not going to adhere to it when making decisions. There's a line between sports and entertainment, and the UFC sent a message with this move that they're willing to cross it.

The events are held for multiple fights.
There are no sensus on "what fight did you came to see?"

So I put what facts are feasible.

Where each are in the fighting card (which demonstrate the interest in said fighter/fight).

I put how much each is reported to have made.

in both items, my point stands.

So unless you do have some data, don't bother answering. because you'll be just trolling.
