Television X-MEN '97 (Leaked Season 2 Trailer, post #826)

So I skipped the credits but read something about they changing Jean Grey hairstyle in the credits and rewatched it, so basically loose hair = Madeline, Ponytail = Jean

They also removed Bishop from the intro.
They seem to change something up with the intro every time. They add in some new scene every time. Mr. Fantastic, Forge, and Longshot were in them before.

They had Prof X in the 1st episode intro, then took him out and added Magneto.
And Storm was in the first 2, but not the last 2.

For me the mid 70's to the late 80's is really "my" X-Men. From Giant Sized #1 to when the team magically ended up in Australia. After that I just became a casual reader because I really didn't like the team make up anymore.
That might be their absolute peak too. I was a little kid thru most of the 80s so didn't get to catch all of it at the time. But I went back later and read a lot of it and it's so, so good.

Really? Cmon, that's just lazy. I was guessing he was just immune.

Takes away her black window kinda flaw.
In the age of apocalypse alternate continuity Rogue and Magneto are married with kids. Something something he can use the magnetism repel her power. He also does it at one point in the #1 issue of the X-Men relaunch. He's trying to grab some old soviet nukes and she kisses him and is surprised it doesn't work (to drain his powers)

When I read the synopsis for this episode, I thought, oh god dammit, mojo?! I gave it a shot cuz I thought the video games may be what I was playing at that time. The only cool thing was a genesis called motendo...

So...this is a filler episode, basically. No idea what that bullshit meant at the end nor care.

I never really got Sinister as villain. This Goblin Queen episode feels like the exact reason I never really liked his appearances. He's such a B villain.

'' I don't actually do anything but manipulate others into doing it for me and when it doesn't work I'm saavy not dumb''

this video game episode is crap. Nostalgic tripe, at least it was pushing on with the story before.

I wonder if they have the balls to make a new gen familiarise Magneto as the leader of the X men and not Charles.

Such cheesy dialogue in today's episode. Reminded me of a Soap Opera from the 80s.

Loved it!

So...this was the Musical Episode?

And Moira has a worse Scottish accent than Mel Gibson.

First half of the epsiode was boring. Too much soap opera shit about emotions, relationships etc. But the last ten minutes or so...my God.

That's the Wild Sentinal from Grant Morrison's run. Cassandra Nova used it to attack Genosha and murder 16 million Mutants. Given Nova is the Big Bad of Deadpool and Wolverine, I wonder if she'll make an appearance here.

Gambit and Magneto got awesome, "death scenes" even though we know they'll both come back at some point. Rogue's final line while holding Gambit's corpse brought The Feels,

"I can't feel you..."

unfortunately I felt E4 took the wind out of its sales though

not hugely into the idea that we're back fighting the sentinels like everything reset
