Looks like they are doing a good job keeping the people coming back into the states on lockdown. Good.

The US government is not handling this as well as they should.

The past few months have shown that quarantine works and that preventive measures slow the spread.

But that doesn't matter when people are traveling freely and we don't have a way of people to check if they are infected.

This is day one shit.

People from states are traveling to Japan freely.

They come back and spread everywhere across the country.

Chinese scientists believe the deadly coronavirus may have started life in a research facility just 300 yards from the Wuhan fish market.

A new bombshell paper from the Beijing-sponsored South China University of Technology says that the Wuhan Center for Disease Control (WHCDC) could have spawned the contagion in Hubei province.

'The possible origins of 2019-nCoV coronavirus,' penned by scholars Botao Xiao and Lei Xiao claims the WHCDC kept disease-ridden animals in laboratories, including 605 bats.

It also mentions that bats - which are linked to coronavirus - once attacked a researcher and 'blood of bat was on his skin.'

The report says: 'Genome sequences from patients were 96% or 89% identical to the Bat CoV ZC45 coronavirus originally found in Rhinolophus affinis (intermediate horseshoe bat).'

It describes how the only native bats are found around 600 miles away from the Wuhan seafood market and that the probability of bats flying from Yunnan and Zhejiang provinces was minimal.

In addition there is little to suggest the local populace eat the bats as evidenced by testimonies of 31 residents and 28 visitors.

Instead the authors point to research being carried out withing a few hundred yards at the WHCDC.

One of the researchers at the WHCDC described quarantining himself for two weeks after a bat's blood got on his skin, according to the report. That same man also quarantined himself after a bat urinated on him.

they might as well just say what we all know. It’s one of their germs they were working on and it got loose.

This is crazy. Why all these dang barricades. Anyone want to count?

how long will people’s nerves last on lockdown for for well over two weeks now.

Needed an Arnold style catch phrase like “here have a seat” ..

I've been saying those for a few weeks now and it remains the same. There is a HUGE disconnect between what is happening in China and what is being said in the rest of the world. I was just listening to A.M. radio this morning where a "specialist" on the program basically said don't worry about it, this is a big nothing burger. Then you go online and see China is entombing everyone in sight, just fuck it, nailing everything shut. It seems extreme unless the Chinese are experiencing mass death and even if they are experiencing mass death it still seems extreme.

Yep.
I said it ,a month ago.

So now is ,TWO facilities(in that city)that mess with this garbage.
And one is 200 yards from the fish market.
And a dude(working for the lab)who got bit by bats and quarantine HIMSELF...twice.
And people who ACTIVELY knows whats going on are taking radical measures to avoid a worldwide epidemic(US).

Lol why no fishing? Anyone got any ideas.

I don't know, why are they beating dogs to death with clubs? They obviously feel that animals can carry this virus and give it to humans but I've never really heard of something that viral because you have to understand, dogs and fish are very different.

The UK seems to be taking this rather more seriously.

‘Millions’ with flu symptoms may need to ‘self-isolate’ due to coronavirus

“Millions” of Britons with flu-like symptoms could be told by authorities to “self-isolate” by staying at home for a fortnight if the UK’s number of coronavirus cases rises passed 100.

This just seems like a "bring out your dead" moment waiting to happen. There is no way there are enough medical workers and hospitals in the world to handle an outbreak that infects tens of millions or hundreds of millions of people. They are already basically saying, lock yourself in, and goodluck.

so were the passengers infected early on, and it’s taken weeks and weeks for them to show symptoms?

Or is it spreading now even though they are doing everything possible to stop the spread.
