It makes sense if you think that's what will be needed. Spread doesn't mean every man woman and child is gonna get it, just that someone will.

I think the biggest issue with this virus is the extremely long incubation period. People are walking disasters well before being aware of it.

Knowing that there are now more military quarantine centers all over the U.S to take care of any infected people who might get in (instead of dumping them into general hospitals and let it spread to other people) should reduce your concerns, not increasing it.

I would advice you to not taking this reassuring preparation and try to spin it into something to be panicky about, because I can guarantee you right now that groundless paranoia gonna turn a bunch of people with logic and common sense against you. Again.

Yes, I do, precisely because unlike the Wuhan government, our government is actually making proactive steps to anticipate any possible contamination, which somehow is making you lose your mind.

It's very strange, really. Like seeing lifeguard towers popping up all over a new beach and freaking out instead of feeling more safe knowing that preparations are being made.

Like I kept telling the "just the flu, nothing to see here" folks: preparation in an epidemic is a good thing, be it SARS, Ebola, or Coronavirus. The more comprehensive the preparation the better, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
