I always liked him as a commentator. Maybe a bit too sure of himself sometimes but every commentator ever can come across that way from time to time

He is the Fight Professor after all. And let's be honest here, Bas was always a bad commentator and got even worse after Pride.

I cannot agree. I've always thought he was great. Bas/Rutten worked almost perfectly together and I really haven't a call from Cage Rage to Strikeforce where I thought he did a bad job. But there you go, everyone's got different opinions.

Personally I have him in my top 3 ever to call the sport

I enjoyed Fight Professor and Bas together in Pride. Maybe old age has played it's role on Quadros too. Maybe he's lost a step? I think it's because he never had a good training camp ... oh, wait nevermind.

Yeah, time flies. I thought he either looks like skeletor or the crypt keeper lately.

I miss those skitz he and Bas did in Pride lol
