China’s “dancing grannies” are a tough bunch.

They are the middle-aged and elderly outdoor dance enthusiasts who crowd sidewalks, parks and squares. They include quite a few men, despite their popular name, and have become a colorful fixture in towns and cities, swirling, skipping and swaying in happy rows, during the mornings and often late into the night.

Too much of a fixture for some neighbors who can somehow grow tired of hours of throbbing disco music, electro-folk tunes and Bollywood-influenced dance numbers blasted over tinny loudspeakers.

In Pennsylvania, the popular kid in high school turned out to be a 23-year-old Ukrainian national busted for banging girls at the school.

But that’s off the table after his life came crashing down last week.

The 18-year-old Asher Potts, it turns out, was actually 23-year-old Artur Samarin, a Ukrainian national, police said.

Weird. The link with that address wouldn't work and was clearly gibberish, but when I went back into my history that was the address of the story, even when I refreshed the page. I had to go search for the dude's name to find an address that would work in a link.

I always liked seeing dancers there. Most of the ones I saw were dressed in traditional garb and doing the dances of their tribes.
