Wrestling Shoes

    Hi Guy`s .I want to purchase a Wrestling Shoes for grappling .
    I don't want to spend a lot of money so i was wondering which one is better ?
    The Asics Matflex Wrestling Shoes ?
    OR
    Asics Split Second ?
    I wanna go with the ASICS cause i like the company .

    don't purchase any shoes for grappling. unless youre in highschool and competing in regular old collegiate rules wrestling forget shoes altogether, they're just a pain. ;)
     
  3. The "Split" means Split Sole.
    The Heel and the Toe sole are two separate pieces so your foot is more flexible.
    Not really a better or worse issue but a personal preference.

    Lots of guys at our Gym wear wrestling shoes but we aren't training specifically for MMA competition.
    I had a broken toe that I kept rebreaking so now i wear shoes full time

    Adidas Response...One pair that lasted me 2 years in high school and through my college wrestling as well. You don't wanna wear wrestling shoes for grappling outside of pure wrestling though.
