Media Wrestling and fighting are VERY different things

Big exaggerated recoil, you have to stay composed as a striker. Don't think I've ever seen Floyd react like that, even after the huge uppercut from McGregor he kept his composure.
You're also expecting to be hit in a boxing match so mentally prepped for it as opposed to in an event where it's not allowed.

Also oversell to make sure the refrigerator penalizes them.

It's wrestling, he's in his wrestling stance. It's like saying an NBA guy is bad at soccer because he wasn't ready to kick a ball in a BB game or that an MMA fighter is bad at wresting cuz he stands upright and is thus easier to reach the hips of, or a bad boxer because he doesn't stand bladed and is thus easier to punch.

Don't see where he reacted bad. He meant to hit back? It's wrestling. He won the match right after - not exactly physically or mentally shook.

But it is indeed different.

There are sportsmen from every discipline who wilt when things are not going their way, this means nothing.

Go and fight a wrestler without good counter-wrestling or BJJ, most often you're gonna get stomped.

Yes, of course people wilt, but we've seen guys come over who are only really wrestlers break easily when it actually becomes a fight. That's my point. That happened to Pat. It happened to Bo. It happened to that Dulgarian guy to an extent as well.

Of course you'll get stomped if you can't stop the wrestling or BJJ lol. Everyone knows this. Once these pure wrestlers run into people who can do that though, they break quick.

Don't tell this to the wrestling fanboys who want every fight to go the distance while on the mat the entire time!
Who has ever said this?

I remember you telling me you like arguing with people who don't understand their own logical flaws -- get your fallacious house in order, Bob!

Can you show me video of anyone reacting like that to a sucker punch?

Saduluev is perhaps the best wrestler in the world but he has no instincts for striking defense and does NOT react well to getting hit. That slap was ridiculously telegraphed and he still got walloped by it.
He literaly wasn't phased by it

Saduluev wins the wrestling match but if you mixed in the striking threat of the Cuban in an MMA fight, he destroys him.
Nice racist cope

1/10 idiotic thread

1 point cause it's true that wrestling isn't complete fighting

But you reading that situation I am betting 200 $ that you never wrestled or fought in any way possible.

The guy took the slap well and didn't react cause he got class and manners. I mean why didn't he strike with him in wrestling. Cause he came to win in his sport. His self control is strong.

And yet wrestling is king of MMA. A great wrestler with below average striking can go all the way in any era but a great striker with below average grappling will get exposed sooner or later depending on the strength of his division.
leave Conor out of this...

Wrestler Gable Steveson just destroyed undefeated gyno man Braden Peterson!

In an actual fight, whoever takes down who will land on a hard surface which can compromise any potential of fighting back?

MMA is not real fighting. Sure, it's closer to it than freestyle is, but where in the non-existent rules of fighting does it say to wear gloves, no groin strikes and eye gouges and so on?
