PWD WRESTLEMANIA 39 NIGHT 2

He has had the belt for almost over a 1,000 days … he just defended his belt against the biggest challenger he has had with a huge amount of momentum behind him at Wrestlemania

Losing the belt at fucking Summerslam would be an anti-climax … a whimper …

Roman will now have to lose the belt to someone bigger than Cody and at a venue as big as, maybe bigger than Wrestlemania 39 … lol … Realistically, he won’t lose the belt until Wrestlemania 40 at the earliest …

Summerslam is being held at a stadium that once held Mania with 80k people. Massive stadium shows are now a “whimper”. lol bruh

Cody was his “biggest” challenger and not all of the actual multi time World Champions he faced?

I like Cody and wanted him to win, but some of these hot takes I’m seeing all over the internet are extra goofy.

If Cody wins at SS nobody will give a shit like they cared now. No point in making him champion
That's certainly a risk, but it all depends on how they build to his next challenge. If the build is terrible then sure, but if they do a great job then it'll be just as great as if he won here.

My problems with night 2 weren't even mainly to do with Cody lol the biggest issues for me were Edge beating Finn, Bianca beating Asuka, and the women's tag match. What's the point in Finn being the demon or Asuka being Kana if they don't win? lmao Just seems completely pointless and buries the gimmick imo

Still though, that intercontinental title match was arguably the best match of the whole week. That and Vikingo v Kommader

The few things I've seen, nothing can top Shane tearing his quad. I am in the doctor waiting room and burst out laughing when I saw it.

I'd rather see LA Knight win MITB

YEAH!

Cody doesn't need the briefcase. I feel he'd want to win the title the right way. Although, he could always win and say he's cashing in at MITB instead of just running down when Roman is beaten down.
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. He wins the briefcase then announces the next night that he is cashing in for a rematch at Summerslam in 6 weeks or whatever it is

Youre right Azz, but this would have been a great "WrestleMania moment", nobody really remembers a SS moment.

However RomanReigns eventually loses the title, it will be anti-climactic compared to what would have been if Cody had won at Wrestlemania 39.

He will either lose it someone else, without half the momentum and back story.

Or, he will lose it to Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 40, which, by that point, everyone will be so ducking bored that no-one will give a shit.

That's Cody's fault. He's a can.

I wonder if Vince being back in creative changed the story.

Cody has been in and out of the WWE for well over a decade. To say that he has only been built up for 2 months is inaccurate.

It would like the Rock coming back for a few months and treating him like he has only been in the WWE for 3 months … it’s completely dismissive of his whole career.

Broham.

Cody couldn't sniff the Rocks Elbow pad.

Get real.

I'm watching Night 1 right now, and I gotta say Logan Paul is quite impressive. No botches at all, and he looks like he's been doing this for years.

That spot with KSI on the Spanish announce table was brilliantly set up, and made me LOL pretty hard.

Oh you mean like when Brock won the title off the Rock?

HHH v HBK Non-Sanctioned

Rey v Angle

Summerslam 2002, literally one of the best PPVs ever?

Yeah, no one remembers that.

You filthy casual

Jericho vs Flair too with Flair winning by sub. Damn what an awesome PPV!
