She’s always been fire for me, I never got the hate, but she just looked like a stripper to me the other night

I think Mercedes Mone' is a dime. Always have.

Also one of the few people that have enjoyed a lot of her matches and work. Think her and Bayley were the MVP's of the pre-Thunderdome empty arena COVID era in WWE.

Don't even mind her becoming IWGP Women's Champion eventually. It's just the timing that has me annoyed. KAIRI's run as the first ever champion should be more than 2 months with one 5 minute defense. I doubt Mercedes loses here in her first New Japan match. Who knows though, maybe Bushiroad gave her a huge bag to come in and eat a pin to help establish KAIRI's run (<Lmaoo> yeah right). Her botchy debut was also annoying because KAIRI couldn't even stand tall as the first Women's Champion in the Tokyo Dome and her moment got sacrificed for a botched debut.

I think at the end of the day her run will be fine though. She'll have good matches and will help put eyes on and promote great wrestlers like Giulia who could have huge crossover appeal to a Western audience.

Exactly, Mercedes is hot AF. Kairi is also hot, they can both botch the hell out of each other, will watch.
