The barrel length, plus no rifle stock.

Here’s one of my “pistols” <Lmaoo>

So what's the legal definition of a rifle vs pistol stock? I has thought it was the flat surface area but apparently am wrong

And yes, totally with you how stupid it is that that's technically an AK pistol, but if you actually shoulder it it becomes an illegal short barreled rifle

That thing looks sweet as hell. Definitely like that over my friends' AR pistols on appearance at least. How's the recoil if you actually shoot it free shooting?

I’m not sure what the exact requirements are for a pistol brace, but they’ve all got a way to strap your forearm to it.
A pistol will have been manufactured as a pistol, with a short barrel and no stock. The flat surface area is irrelevant as far as I know. They’ve got rules as far as overall length, I think it’s got to be 26” total or less to still be a pistol.

And you’re allowed to shoulder a pistol brace now, so there’s not a lot of incentive to jump through the NFA hoops for a short barrel rifle.

As far as that AK, the recoil isn’t shit, but it’s pretty heavy so it’s hard to keep it on target without shouldering it.

Wifey shooting it, 7.62x39 out of a 7” barrel :)

Didn't know the shouldering rules were gone or that a pistol brace could be closer to simply a short rifle stock. Cool. Your gun looks super badass (and the Wifey not too bad either lol)

Cheers. I may look into one as a just for fun gun in the future. Bought a handgun and ar 15 last year and a half so need to hold off on more until I kill some student loan debt
