What's the technicality on the first one to make it a pistol? 11 inch barrel I'm assuming and then is the stock somehow labeled a fore arm brace rather than a shoulderable stock?

Doesn't look anything like the stocks I'm used to seeing on ar pistols. Those are typically just rounded tubes off the back. I thought the flat spot made it legally a rifle stock

There’s no pad on the back of a pistol brace, vs a rifle stock which will sometimes (but not necessarily) be padded.
There’s also provisions for the pistol brace to strap around your forearm.

I know enough not to be ignorent, but I'm not on that level.
