Howard was one of my favorite players and he was an absolute beast for 4 years (from 26-30 years old).... but we gave him the contract when he was on the down swing after 30

Going by bWAR, Howard's best season was 5.2, and his second-best season was 3.8. Bonds had 17 seasons over 5.2 (high of 11.9). I know you didn't compare them, but just to illustrate the gap between a GOAT contender and Howard.

That'll be a big case. This isn't arguing some technicality of the law that's very specific to Mississippi is it? It's just the 15 week mark for abortions as a whole.

Edit: Not a new precedent. Just asking them to review the existing 22 week viability precedent, that with current technology it should be seen as 15 weeks is a viable baby in the womb.

The struggle is real. I make enough to buy stupid shit but am too poor to stuff of real value.
Sorta the same.

I wanted everything when I was poor and now not so much.
I think for me it's less that I don't want it anymore but more that there are bigger goals I have to use my money for and they look more attainable at this point to the point that purchasing gun parts and stuff is ALMOSt secondary.

I likely will still get the BCG at some point soon if nothing more than to at least finish my damn rifle I've been working on for like 6-7 years at this point.

Yeah, I don't do that. Although my decision making process for most of my motorcycle collection has been pretty dubious.
Definitely a case of want rather than need.

What type of bikes do you have? There are so many bikes I want but I'd need an industrial sized garage to store them. Between my Dad and I we have:

1971 Norton Commando 750
2001 Harley Electriglide
2001 Kawasaki ZZR 1100
2007 Softail Heritage
2009 Suzuki GSF Bandit
2015 Yamaha FZ07
2017 BMW S1000XR

The Bandit and the ZZR are up for sale now, and I'm thinking about putting up the Heritage too. I love the bike, I just don't ride it enough. 7 bikes for 2 asses is too many.

That said...I want a Honda Fury and a Tenere 700.

Gotta collect them all.

I re did all my brake pads and stuff before I moved two years ago. God I hate putting the clips in that hold the pads.
Doing back breaks are the worst to do. Felt like kicking my truck several times LoL

I am a horrible impulse buyer. Especially online. I have my debit card memorized.

About midway through 2020, with all the online shopping I was doing to avoid going into stores, I suddenly realized I had my 2% cash back credit card memorized

That made me uncomfortable. But it's also nice now not having to pull my wallet out to buy online or when putting in a carryout order they ask for card over the phone

That's nothing. I accidentally left my emergency brake engaged when doing my rear brakes. I thought the rotor was just stuck from rust. Managed to get it off with a mallet and a prybar

This resulted in me ripping my parking break off when it came free. And then spent the rest of the weekend getting it back on because it's a bitch with the springs under tension I was constantly worried about bear trapping myself with.

Good old Triton 5.4. Title holder for the biggest POS engine ever designed. My F150 finally kicked the bucket in November.
I had to replace all the damn ignition coils in it.... TWICE. I’ve also replaced the transmission in it last year. Hopefully it lasts until I can get a replacement.

When I say lasts for replacement I mean in like 4-5 years. I need to get the drivers seat redone soon though, has a tear in it

I had that sad moment of realization as well. When I first punched in all the info without having to pull out the card I had felt a small surge of excitement at having remembered all of it correctly. Then a weird feeling of shame came over me when I realized how often I was using it to buy shit I did not need.

I don't think I ever have with my debit card
Had one issue years ago with one of my credit cards

I check my stuff online daily, have two-factor verification, and really strong passwords

Fraud (and rewards) is why I don't use a debit card. Seems like multiple times a year I'm getting fraudulent charges.

Think it was Capital One that finally pointed out how they have virtual numbers you can use so if someone gets your number you don't need a whole new card. Was too lazy to figure it out so I started using the Wells Fargo card since they haven't had to issue me a new one in a while.

Been there lol.

Yeah, I'm not looking to get every example of a certain model or anything like that, so thankfully I'm not chasing any sort of impossible "completeness".
Mostly it's the bikes I wanted when I first started riding and new bikes that have the characteristics I enjoy (light weight, lots of torque).
I've got a '91 GSXR 7/12, '90 GSXR 750AL (black and silver with the Australian flag), '85 RZ250R (although it's got 350 pots, pistons and powerpipes), '97 TL1000S and 2018 KTM 1290 Super Duke.
I'd love a Kawasaki H2 750, but they are silly money here now.
Likewise Katanas, RZ500s, BMW K1s, the original Z900s etc.
My nostalgia is mostly for early '90s big bore sports bikes (SB6R, FZR1000, CBR900RR, GSXR1100, Daytona 1200, ZX9R etc), and late '90s/early '00s sports twins (TRX850, VTR1000SP1, TL1000R, RSV1000R) which are starting to appreciate, but are still mostly priced on condition.
