Not exactly. I don't impulse buy anything.
I won't leave the house to shop without knowing exactly what I'm getting, where and for how much.
However I am a bit of a sucker for good deals. If I know something is genuinely a really low price for that particular thing, then I'm likely to pick it up even if I don't need it at all.
Doesn't really bite me though, because I can always just sell it.

I have like two things on my list of stuff I want to purchase. An ElGato capture card (like, $150) so I can do streaming a little better and people can hear the party chat since my Xbox isn't doing that shit properly and a .308 BCG for my AR-10 ($250-$350 depending on company that made it and what it's made out of/coated with).

I have more than enough TO GET BOTH and talked myself out of purchasing either this weekend lol.

Definitely a case of want rather than need.
