It fell apart when the prosecution wasn't allowed to suppress the fact that the girl slept with another man immediately after her incident with Kobe.

After the judge said the defense could use that as evidence the prosecutors dropped the charges.

Wow. How bizarre.

How does that work though? Having consensual sex so soon after being (allegedly) raped is evidence that you weren't raped? I often get confused with how the legal system works.
