Medical marijuana is legal in PA and there is a law protecting people that have legal prescription but there is an exception for Healthcare workers and people that work with children

Innocence should bring out the best in everybody, know what I mean? Little kids and dogs are just in the moment and know little else beyond the neccessary. I like that reminder that not everything is about competition of some kind or another or "heavy" or complicated. I've never really thought about it, but that comes close to vocalizing what I'm trying to get at.

I'm just saying that growing up there weren't many restaurants that served halal meat or at the very least my family wasn't aware of many. There were some ethnic restaurants but even then my family rarely eat out. Most of the time I ate out it was on a fast food run with friends and the only sandwiches I could order were fish ones, which on a side note is why I largely rank fast food places based on how good their fish sandwiches are.

I had a period where I stopped observing the halal dietary rules but these days I do. These days it feels easier to find restaurants that serve halal meat and if anything I can always order vegetarian dishes when I eat out.

Sorry just jumping in here, I read it, in the 80s, it’s an old book so the above critique is not so relevant. Maybe for the series, but even there I think it’s a bit of a false dichotomy. Progressives are just doing better on one front than the other , markets have provided both opportunity and challenges to women, and conservatism has not proven to be any kind of bulwark against market fundamentalism in the US at least. Also, it’s a TV show, the 1950s on 1984 nazis steroids just makes for a better show than, markets are sucking the life out of us.

It fell apart when the prosecution wasn't allowed to suppress the fact that the girl slept with another man immediately after her incident with Kobe.

After the judge said the defense could use that as evidence the prosecutors dropped the charges.
