I think on average for fit good sized guys, large dog and wolf is the end of the line. Humans can't take anything else bare handed.

Hmm, gator is a weird one. On land they do have vulnerabilities, and they honestly seem a bit stupid. Sure in water they are apex predators but on land not so much, if you had a sharp knife or spear I think you could saddle one and stab it's neck or head to a win. African crocodiles are a no go though, those fuckers are massive and have tank armor for skin and 6 feet wide heads.
