100 hours of PTO to use and nothing to do....

I don't hit "use it or lose it" status until I get to like 300.

My PTO never goes away, but there is a cap.

I just take a day or two off a month to keep it under control.

I admittedly would like to get to that point where I have to take a couple days every other month to stay under the limit.

He was usually civil, but he would lose his shit sometimes. And he has a really unhealthy hatred of the left in general.
He's a decent person, most of the time, then would go postal. A shame, really, because he's articulate and no dum dum. Unfortunately his temper seems to always get the best of him and he'd put his blinders on. Logical Insanity indeed. Hope he'll be back and watch what he posts here closer.

Lol okay. Good luck with that. <mma4> Imagine denying something because its impossible to view it yourself.
And so, predictably, our journey returns to its origin.
Thus, you eructate one baseless assertion to support another baseless assertion and have come full circle, amounting to 0.

And so it goes.

That which can be affirmed without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

And so it goes.

Now, back to this post. It made me wonder what does everyone hold as their belief that is most on the opposite end of the spectrum of your ideology?

If you're talking the ideological spectrum, I'm pretty far left but a big believer in markets in general. Pretty ambivalent about single payer, and I really don't buy a lot of the arguments that leftists put forward for it (especially that it'll lead to material cost reductions, which is pretty key to the whole thing). I don't think campaign finance is a real issue, and I have free-speech concerns about restricting it. In terms of anti-liberal positions, I'm not sure. I do acknowledge that there are downsides to universal values, freedom, and allowing change, but I think they are worth it anyway.

My guess is that they just hacked it and stole the data and then came up with the repair-shop story to explain how they got it. But it's possible that it was stolen.
That's reasonable. If I recall correctly, the shop owner gave testimony to the FBI. So I would imagine he could be charged with a crime, if he lied. Do you think its possible it wasn't hacked or stolen?

Thats like saying you think the moon landing is a hoax unless you can fly to the moon and inspect the landing site yourself.

Aaw, you're cute.

Btw, pal, some of your beliefs place you firmly on the "right". It's so easy to dismiss others wholesale when you box them in. There's a bunch of "left" wing guys on here who carry, or think the transgender push is lunacy, or think borders must be secured, or any other number of hot topics. Get over yourself.
Why are guns and transgenders partisan issues at all? Because hardcore right wingers wanted them to be. So, I would start there if there's remediation to be had.

<TrumpWrong1>

Edit: if law enforcement have all the relevant info, according to you, and they arrest him, I will believe, without seeing anything, that they have a good faith belief there is evidence of a crime. Consequently I would then believe it's likely such evidence exists.

Possible that they fooled the guy or at least that he could argue that he was fooled. The idea that he just abandoned a laptop with everything that's alleged to be on it, and then the repair shop guy just happened to look at it and to have connections--it seems really fishy to me. I guess it's not literally impossible, but I'd be very surprised if that turns out to be true (assuming that I'm interpreting the claim correctly). I also think that there's very, very little chance that Joe will turn out to have done anything wrong related to this.

It's insane to me that the right wing adopted the second amendment and pretend like they're the only ones who want to protect the right to bear arms. It's not a ring-wing position.

Karl Marx himself, the far left boogie man that gets name-dropped for spooky fear-mongering all the time, expressed that the working class should always be armed and prepared to kill the oppressors.

Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary

The quote is, hilariously enough, attributed to Ronald Reagan in memes. Ronald Reagan signed the Mulford Act into law in California, in an attempt to criminalize Black Panthers openly carrying firearms during protests and in general.

Anything further left than "Progressive Democrats" supports and encourages the right to bear arms. I tell anyone I can to join the SRA and seek out your local chapter.

And everytime I see some right-wing dork on Twitter saying something like "make sure you're carrying because those antifa soyboys don't" I'm just like.... lmao that loser is going to end up in a hospital at best.

Let's please not get too far ahead, Jack. I was prepared to deal with the false equivalency of comparing Joe and Hunter with Trump and Junior after I get them to admit there's nothing that has come to light that gives this any credence.
