Oliviera's biggest issue is simply that he got pushed too hard too fast. He was young and they were feeding him to lions.

I really don't think he noticed that line. As I said in the thread itself, most likely he was on Twitter where he follows a bunch of right wing mouth breathers. The Israel/Palestine conflict became big news and he started getting lots of right wing hot takes on his feed. Knowing nothing about the conflict but wanting to join the fun he decided to pop over here and just post his favorite tweets off his feed. He saw that one and his ADHD brain just focused on the video and missed the line about how Palestinians shouldn't exist.

If he was clever he could've defended the line without endorsing genocide by arguing that Palestinian national identity shouldn't exist since its defined against Israeli national identity and that those who call themselves Palestinian should just assimilate into surrounding Arab countries. Not that I agree with that but its an argument that could be made.

I honestly just should've left him up to essie, her temperament is perfect for dealing with guys like that.
