It's a lot harder to get banned just for trolling in the WR without explicitly breaking the rules.
Just getting everyone to agree they are a troll isn't straight forward. Look at posters like Ripskater with the stuff he posted about "fairies" and people still didn't think he was trolling.
After all it's really only a matter of degree when it comes to posters that exaggerate their opinions/positions to provoke people (seems like the majority) and the outright trolls.
Hence why posters like Proud American, Queen B, WarDosAnjos, RidenWitBiden, El Viejito and El Anciano last so long.
Of course if we can definitively link them to prior banned trolls there's no such leeway.

I would say instead that the incredible number of people who swallowed that horse hockey hook line and sinker was a big story. It should have been in the news cycle for all of 12 minutes.

Queen B in particular I think is getting a bad rap if I am to go by only what I have seen the person post. So, I imagine there must be a lot of stuff I am not seeing given the vitriol that is directed at that user by so many others. I'd like to have a better understanding of it, if you please.

I think, in general, Queen B posts like a caricature of "progressive liberals". He posts like Fox News thinks liberals act.

SDW went off the rails here and there, but he was a good guy overall. Hope it's just a temp ban, but I don't know. He had another older account that was banned before he came back in 2012 with a new name. I'm sure he'll be back.

I have been told on here repeatedly, by mods even, that trolling is acceptable, even a community good, because it provokes discussion--never mind the quality of that discussion--and because of the entertainment others can derive from it. I recall people having admitted to starting shit just to get a conversational ball rolling (but not in a joking manner), evidently content that it had the desired effect.

I'm not a fan. I have never liked trolling. Especially by people who make it their only reason for being here. But I see it as too vague a term to have a useful definition as a reason to ban someone. However, if you can assure me you can be banned for that, I will have a list of people for you by this time tomorrow with accompanying evidence.
 
Ok let's move on. Who's everybody got for the fights this week? I got Chandler via knockout 2nd round.
