That was the reason I went with the Cable Street Riot as a historical example, to see if anyone would respond the way you did. Which is an understandable opinion of course.
Generally when most people think of Antifa they're thinking of Rose City, but the modern inception in the US was born out of the Anti Racist Action punk subculture.
It's fascinating to me how the Proud Boys and Antifa became so well known. It's not really a new thing, those dudes have been brawling and doxxing each other up in the PNW since the 90s. The fash types change names and uniforms but they all basically operate the same.
Hell Gavin basically modeled the Proud Boys after anti racist skinhead crews called SHARPs. Down to the initiation stuff. A lot of SHARPs were fucking pricks though and took that laces and braces shit too serious.
Fascinating subcultures though. Shame so much it is forgotten.
Bro I fucking cackled when I saw that. Sites like Stormfront were salty as fuck.
I'll see if I can find it, but one of my absolute favorites was the anti fascist who created a racist private Facebook group, screenshotted all the vile things they said and made a post basically saying.
"You guys are all despicable people and I'm ashamed to see so many service members here." And sent the receipts to their bosses lmao.
Parler got hacked too and every single post ever made is indexed. Gab has been hacked two times lol.
