Do you agree with Gandhi that corporate rate should be near and adjusting according to personal income tax rate? For a time, I felt inclined to think that corporate rate should be lowered while income tax rate increased both progressively and across the board, but I believe Gandhi stated that adjusting income rates disproportionate to corporate rates would result in distortions and the wealthy pretty much shifting their money into shell businesses.

I'm probably a little extreme in that I think we should eliminate the corporate income tax entirely. Whatever the goals of the corporate income tax are can be better addressed by changing how we tax passive income and capital gains.

The original intent of the corporate income tax was to stop tax avoidance from shareholders who use the Corp to hoard profits and shield themselves from the liability. I don't think this is an efficient strategy anymore.

But in regards to things that could actually happen now? I haven't thought about the actual rates much but I do know there was a bipartisan agreement that the rate was too high and put US domiciled companies at a valuation disadvantage. I think the sweet spot was thought to be around 25-28%

You think they’d call themselves crackers?
Ahh, that's why I put "rich" in the equation. "Cracker" is commoner language, so to speak. I mean obviously the powers that be failed to make the association.

The origin of the word is often tied to wealthy plantation owners who "cracked the whip" rather than it's contemporary derogatory usage, so there's that.

Yeah, I expect the steam pages will be up soon.

I'll still knee deep in Kiwami 2, so there's no hurry on my end. I still got a couple weeks of Majima Construction ahead of me.

When I was 10 (1978) I had a nice collection of the original issue Star Wars action figures. One day me and my little brother thought it would be hilarious to see what it was like to put some of them in the toaster oven to melt them. Boy we had a hoot. I figure it's entirely possible that party cost over 100K.

I do still have some Star Wars comics from that year in near mint condition I'd like to know the value of but the toaster incident still pains me to this day.

I feel ya'. Had a ton of Star Wars toys in in grade school. Between dogs chewing on them and me tossing them out because I was too big for them by jr. high, can't imagine how much the collection would be worth today. Live and learn.

Yeah I don’t think she’s actually willing to work with ANY Republican

Is it considered working with republicans to guillotine them? Like, she'd be with them while the national razor patriotically shortened them, so...

She has worked with Republicans though
Only Romney.

I also think that social media is not kind to politicians and they should only use it for updates to their work. Not just her but a lot of responses are just combative and inflammatory not professional at all. They’re only in ot for the retweets and likes.
