That megadeth song (peace sells) is just punk rock with some metal riffs thrown in to trick you into believing its metal. If you took out some of those riffs and cut the song by 1 minute 30 seconds it would just be punk rock. Those lyrics are pure 100% punk.

I know Lotta local punk bands that did covers of a lot of their songs.

Holy wars in ska is amazing

thrash metal to me is just punk rock and metal mixed together. Kill Em All from Metallica is very punk rock inspired as well and that was North americas first big trash album

I feel like enough time hasn't gone by to complain up here in the d yet. Our team made everyone else's teem cry for a decade plus and it felt good. I still remember the feeling so it hasn't been too long just yet.
