I went from a 160ish lb junkie to a 300 lb drunk on Suboxone and Zoloft to a healthy 185ish totally sober all over the course of a few years.

What's important is that the end result is you at a healthy weight rocking some glorious hair and buying a house
Proud of you, bud. Come a long way since the days of me arguing with you in the Mayberry over drunk driving.

I've been on that cycle a few times. And each time ya kick you get bigger and bigger.

Body and drug issues are hell on the mind.

My brother is super gay but also super physically inept (He can't catch a ball and never learned how to ride a bike) so the body issue one is super hard on him. The only way he knows how to lose weight is through drug use.

They tried to do a deal with Bam similar to Steve-0 when they made Jackass 2, basically that if stayed sober (drug tests) and stuck with his therapy and bipolar meds he could be a part of it. But he relapsed in preproduction I think and went on one of his weird Instagram rants. So no Bam
TBF, Bam was always the biggest bitch of them all.

The snake thing in the trailer, the way he always went after Dunn and others to the point when England got to dropkick him in the face you can tell there was some pent up frustration and intent in that kick:

Just look at Viva La Bam and how he treated his folks and guys like Raab and Dico. Ripping on Raab for wanting to find the Russian bride they all bought once not realizing that Raab ACTUALLY liked the girl or the way Dico and Dunn are always the butt of his jokes and then he can't handle it when they get one over on him.

I never liked Bam, always thought he was a spoiled, mean spirited piece of shit. 99% of people around the Philly area that ran into him and weren't sycophants had the same impression.

DiCamillo was always my favorite of the CKY crew.

Thanks amigo.

When I was at 3 hundy, I did a blood test to see if I had Hep C, which I fully believed I did. That ended up not being the case and I have no idea how. Before they gave me the results though, the nurse took my blood pressure then looked at me all concerned and was like, "are you feeling okay?" I'm like, "yeah, why?" Guess it was dangerously high. Got the clean blood test results back and immediately started getting my health back on track.

The hilarious thing is DiCamillo was always my favorite from that portion of the Jackass crew. When Bam moved to that weird castle looking house for Viva La Bam and his friends were basically living with him you could tell that Dunn and DiCamillo, though shitstirrers and pranksters in their own right nothing they ever really did was super mean spirited (except maybe Dunn and Knoxville turning Bam's Hummer into a convertible).

Like, EVERYTHING Bam does is mean spirited and it always made me laugh when he was the "de facto" guy to do stuff with Tony Hawk and Mat Hoffman as he was sponsored by Element when in fact pretty sure he's never WON anything competition wise and guys like Mike V, Dave England, and others they were friends with or were crew members were more accomplished skateboarders and Hawk and Hoffman just sorta put up with Bam.

@HereticBD

I don't know dude, it's not a matter of you not being on my team. I think there are tons of trash posters one would call "left" I think it's mostly you being the sassiest straight dude here lol. You are an intellligent dude, but you are basically the Squidward of the WR. I just would like more elaboration when it comes to WR posts, but at the same time this place is literally a cesspool of intellectualism.

Again though, my posting style is the same across the board. I might be more confrontational in here, simply due to the nature of the War Room, but the style in which I post is the same across the board. So, while you might appreciate and agree with my takes on other topics, you can't in here, because I would imagine damn near everything I say, clashes with your worldview.

Also I disagree when you say "if I were some raving progressive just parroting left wing talking points, and posting a bunch a tweets in place of original thoughts" come on, QueenB threads aren't full of leftists lol.

But Queen B is an obvious troll and everyone knows it. Horrible example. There's Joe, PEB, 58Miles, KONG, The Big Bang, TheOneAboveAll, Skold, RearnakedChoke, Kenetics, LangfordBarrow, Hola, Jefferz...I can go on and on. You've got plenty of vapid Lefties in here who do nothing but parrot left wing talking points, and post nothing resembling an original thought. In fact, I'd say it's the vast majority.

This is a very right wing dominated forum

The War Room certainly is not. It's a pretty even split.

I think if you had the same style from the other side you'd likely be looked over. I hope you know I'm not trying to be insulting or rude, you might be right, but often your posts (to me) come across as dry and sassy. I'd say if you switched sides you would be a liberal and not a leftist because there isn't a lot of substance to your posts here.

This seems like more of personal issue than anything. If I were on the left, I would stand out all the same. You personally might skim over my posts, but I would be just as notable due to my activity and the way I post. Like it or not, people do agree with a lot of my insights in here, even though I don't accompany them with a bunch of links, and break my thoughts down like I'm writing an essay. It would be no different if I was on the other side.

Hell buddy in the Millennial wealth thread you basically just said "well quit buying IPhones". Honestly my frustration isn't about what side you picked, it's that I think you're interesting and intelligent and you rarely offer your true insight.

While I do post my fair share of dismissive and condescending comments, there's truth to that whether you like it or not. No offence, but I could cite you as an example. I don't know what your situation is now, but at one time you were a starving artist living out of your car chasing your dreams, and wasting all the excess money you did obtain on booze and drugs. That's not the crushing weight of unchecked capitalism holding you down. That's your decisions shaping your situation. You're not owed anything, because you decided to chase your dreams instead of settling for a steady job. You chose to ride the lighting and see where it takes you. Hopefully it worked out for you, but if it didn't, it's not "the system's" fault. It's your fault.

Now obviously there are other factors at play in general, like stagnant wages in the face of a never ending rise in the cost of living, but it's not the be all end all. There are plenty of opportunities out there, and nothing exemplifies it more than what is happening right now, where there are literally MILLIONS of job openings, yet most who are out of work are choosing to sit on their asses and collect. Then, when Daddy government inevitably turns the taps off, they're gonna be those same people complaining that they're getting fucked by the system, even though opportunity has been staring them in the face. Oh' and all that money they were just handed? Gone.

The only real difference in what we believe in this regard, is that you have a victim mentality and I don't.

Scared you straight back into fitness. Crazy how some people will get news like that from the nurse or doctor but won't change their unhealthy habits to fix it.

In my case, I had just said fuck it cause I thought there was no way I didn't have Hep C. I shared needles with people who had it. I had no plans to live much longer. It's pure fluke that I got away with no lasting effects. When I got that news, I realized I actually had a 2nd chance. Went back to training Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, went back to college, and got my shit together.

For me I started trying to make a change when I got my Type 2 diagnosis. I still struggle with weight and shit but I'm eating cleaner and off needing to inject myself and am just on a pill now.

Glad you got out before fent became an issue

There's people out there who got the same news you did but instead of changing they just kept doing what they did until eventually they lose a foot to diabetes
Blows my mind

I can kind of get it. When I got the diagnosis I felt like shit for about 2 weeks to the point I think I skipped a couple days of work just from having next to no real motivation to do shit. It's not a death sentence but it's definitely something where you get the news and all you can think is "so I have to stab myself 4 times a day for the rest of my life?"

Raab Himself, Rake, or Art Webb 1986 for me

That's awesome man. Like @CubicleGangster said, lots of people hear news like that and keep doing the exact same shit.

Losing that weight was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I always thought it would be easy because I'd been in great shape prior, I'm disciplined once I set a goal, and I genuinely enjoy working out every day. It was insane how difficult it was to break through those plateaus and get my body accustomed to exercise again though.
