In other news, does anyone have a guttershield/gutterguard/leafguard? What brand and how have they worked for you? What would you recommend, the clip in mesh type? Or the hard top ones where rain then pours around the lip into the gutter? Also apparently my fascia is loose, would a pro gutter guard installer just fix that while they were up there as a by product of installing new gutters if it's an all in one piece?

My new house has some tall tall trees in backyard and owner disclosed that when gutters are clogged rain will get into the egress window into the basement. And I don't want to be frequently going up a two story ladder with a leaf blower to clear them out.

I have a 13 yo, hes is learning "ladder safety" starting this spring. My gutters will be sparkling
