Never read Black Hawk Down, but the movie was intense. As far as Lone Survivor, I'm just not a super fan of Berg's erratic directing style or the way his films are edited. I really enjoyed the Rundown though. But Lone Survivor just kinda wound up being a Mark Wahlberg movie. Same with Patriot's Day. From somebody who has worked on Boylston Street for 13 years and followed that case and trial very closely, that movie was fucking bullshit.

although I did like Patriot's Day as well...the only movie I thought Marky Mark was terrible in was....16 blocks?? Ronda Rousey is in it...something about transporting a double agent to safe custody..
