do some trump supporters do this? yes. but I have found the inverse to be more accurate. I find that the left have to often portray the political opposition into this grotesque caricature of being a rabid trump supporter. I don't know how many times this has happened to me.

Almost three-quarters of Democrats oppose open borders, but Republicans predict that only a third would. Etc. On the other hand, Democrats are very wrong about how many Republicans agree that "many Muslims are good Americans" and about how many think that immigration is good (or can be).
