Social WR Lounge 243: Can you make threads while yellow?

1000 posts per thread doesn't give me enough time to work myself up to make a new thread.

I must have missed this story. Thought he just liked to hang out in the clubs.

James or Deshaun? James loves strip clubs and he knows what's up. Deshaun doesn't. That's where he should have stayed. I have say so in damn near every Houston strip club to put it perspective and compared to Deshaun I'm not shit. He could have been fucking in VIP and pouring Champagne over any chick he wanted. No lawsuits no trouble. Here we sit.

that's a valid point....

although I did like Patriot's Day as well...the only movie I thought Marky Mark was terrible in was....16 blocks?? Ronda Rousey is in it...something about transporting a double agent to safe custody..

talk about over acting.

It wasn't so much whether Wahlberg overacted or not, it's about how much more involved he made his character in the movie. Being a Producer, he can do that. Okay he's at the finish line when the bombs go off. Makes sense, there were a lot of BPD there. But then he's somehow also privy to walk around the warehouse where the evidence was being processed? Eh, stretching it..... but okay. Then he mouths off to Kevin Bacon's character, who is an FBI investigator. Any cop would be immediately reprimanded and suspended, if not fired, for that. But what I really couldn't stand was the fact that Wahlberg's character, a Boston cop, is the first one on scene to the house where the boat was...... in Watertown. A Boston cop could be the first to respond to a 911 call in Watertown? In a Boston police cruiser? The fuck? Took me right out of it. The whole shootout scene in Watertown was so over exaggerated as well.

How much of it you think is Buzbee being a prick? He's an Ag so I gotta be thankful he's on our side, but man that dude is some kind of work.

In that case, I'll stick to being sexist/gender-exclusionary.

The day I say "ya'll" is the day I tip a vending machine onto myself.
Personally I like gendered language and I embrace it. Not for ideological reasons, I just feel like it spices up language in a fun way. Applies more to romance languages like Spanish and Portuguese and stuff. I think its cool that like, tables and cars and buildings have a gender in romance languages.

Imagine if, in every Disney animated movie, characters that were inanimate objects just had no gender. Think about how lame that would be.
I can’t believe some people didn’t vote ribs or brisket on my bbq thread poll
I observe halal dietary customs unsurprisingly but getting halal meat from a halal butcher can be a pain so I tend to eat things that are halal within Western cuisine. So I have a more or less pescatarian diet. Even when I get a chance to eat halal red meat I tend to pass, just pass the salmon brah. I do like poultry in general and chicken in particular but red meat in general is not my thing.
