Idk if he'll beat Garbrandt of if he'll ever be champ/fight for the belt but I'm on the warwagon

Not sure about any of that.

Promising young fighter, who has a long, long way to go before suggesting he has any realistic chance of beating the elite of 135. He very much will have his hands full with Cody.

From the little of seen of him, he gets tagged a lot.

Him vs. Dillashaw or Dodson would be fun. He almost got wrecked by Brad Pickett.

He's extremely exciting, and I really like the guy.

He has some real power at 135lbs, which is quite rare. Like many others have said though, he gets tagged a lot.

When you start to get tagged by "better" fighters, it's not always going to go your way. He needs to continue to improve at a relatively fast rate, and he'll be strong enough to hang with the big boys.

Don't forget the guy got dropped twice by Pickett if I remember correctly, before his amazing flying knee KO.

Warwagon member here though! Almeida!

he showed a champions heart against Pickett, there's a reason he's called one punch, and Thomas survived 2 ;) .

I agree his defense does need to be tightened up but he likes to take risks, which soo far he has been rewarded each time with.

His future is bright, but he has his hands full with Cody, no way this fight is boring, hope it lasts more than round.

He's great but Sterling is the best BW prospect. Still has the best W out of the 3 and yet they put him on the undercard. Ridiculous

He actually called himself "one punch" early in his career to confuse his opponents, because we was mainly a grappler

He's definitely a talent for sure but I was shocked at how many times and how cleanly Pickett connected...Cody has more lights out power than Pickett I think, Almeida needs to work on striking defense for sure

Garbrandt's a potential bad matchup for him. He has way cleaner boxing and good movement.

i loled @ 2:57 of the video. the refree doesnt know what to do.
alemida is the only fighter from brazil that i like.
