Poirier's ground game doesn't get a ton of love, as he really doesn't show it much, but it's solid.

Actually thats not entirely true Duffy was near to getting a possible sub against Poirer at the end of the third round. He just ran out of time only 10 seconds left. You can see the ref about to break them apart for the end of the fight.

I remember it. Just don't think Poirier was that threatened by it. But even if it was I'm still surprised that it took until the end of the third to happen. They grappled quite a lot that fight.

Nay he was not getting out of that Duffy had locked in hard with it and was elbowing him, he just ran out of time to win. Rogan even said in Commentary if he another 15 seconds it could have been all over.
