Would you want to see a Poirier - McGregor 4?

No. I would like to see Conor fight Max at 155, though.

Nope. Their second fight had plenty of drama and was a fight worth watching. The third fight was a complete waste of everyone's time.

If the UFC thinks fans are dumb enough to pay to see them fight again, well I guess that's the fans fault then.

I'm not opposed to Poirier getting good paydays, he's earned them and while seeing McGregor humbled yet again would be entertaining, I certainly wouldn't pay for it. Let Poirier fight Oliviera, Chandler, rematch with Justin etc. Lots of great fights for him that we would watch.

McGregor needs to retire and go broke like we all expect him to.

there's no way Weidman and McG come back and look like the same fighter.
Weidman especially was on a major downward slope for a long time. He should RETIRE.

McG is underestimating the recovery period and effects. All any fighter has to do is KICK HARD that lower leg that broke and it WILL mess with him mentally. Also McGregor is never going to be comfortable kicking hard again, ever. I have broken my own femur (snapped, overlapping bones) and there are issues afterwards.

Ouch, that's gonna be the worst pain imaginable. How'd you break it?

Definitely not right away. Dustin should move on and fight for the title already.

Absolutely would love to. I just want a clean ending to make up for the last one, so it leaves no doubts.

Conor lost the second fight and was getting lit up in the third. There are no doubts left as to who is the better fighter.

Result would be the same, W for Dustin. If he wants the free money, sure I'll see it again. No way I think McGregor will be back better after snapping his shin.

Imagine you are a great computer programmer. (Dustin is a great fighter that I'm a fan of) He has two options:

A. A network badly needs to be revamped. They offer you 60K to do it, and truth be told, it would be a big accomplishment for your resume + it would garner a lot of glory. (that is Dustin beating Charles for the belt)

B. Then again there is some old lady that has the IQ of a door-nail. She really gets confused when her computer locks up (which isn't infrequent). She will pay you 250K to run a "diagnostic" as you call it (in reality you tell her to restart her computer each time, it takes a total of 10 minutes of work). There is no glory in it, it is a tad dirty of you to do, but you've already made a cool million off her and there is no end in sight. She may ask you another 8 times to do it before the year is out. (that is UFC giving Conor 47 do-overs when he will lose all of them in increasingly hilarious fashion to Dustin)

As a guy that thinks it is hilarious that Conor is being more and more humiliated and Dustin is getting more and more filthy rich for doing something easy, I root for B to happen. As a guy that wants legitimacy to mean jack shit to the sport, A should happen. As a guy that then realizes there is no legitimacy to this sport in the slightest and it may be a circus that isn't worth redeeming, B seems OK again.

I'm torn.

Would love to see it. No way the pea would get lucky a third time.

Conor vs Diaz is the fight to make... It won't be made for at least another 10-12 months though...

I will stop watching the ufc permanently if he gets a title shot in his first fight back, fuck that little manlet cunt.

For whatever reason you seem fit?
only if Conor comes back, fights other fighters and climbs through the rankings as any other fighter would, and then IF Poirier is still the champ, and Conor the top ranked fighter, they meet again.

Otherwise, Conor has Nate to fight and other fighters that does not matter for title implications (i.e. Max, or Masvidal, etc).

No. But Conor is going to get payed no matter who he fights, so Dustin might as well get payed to KO this fool again.

I would for sure. Always tune into a Conor fight and DP too. Good history between the two and a bit of a freak accident in #3 leaves me wanting a conclusive final bout.
