Say if you had the abilities to be a very good to even perhaps a great MMA fighter. Would you pursue it?

Or it's not worth it you think? For whatever reasons.

Looks alluring, but I don't know.

No, unless taking hits in the face is your thing. I tried it and didn’t like it. All the more reason to respect those that can do it.
Plus, it’s a short career, like most pro sports, and if you don’t make it to the top, serious money is not there.

Yes, for sure I'd like the chance to take life-altering damage for a 15/15 pay day under the bright lights of the UFC.

But in all seriousness, I think its only worth taking the plunge if you have BOTH of these things:
- ability
- charisma/potential star power

I don't think it's worth it if you're a boring cunt, since people won't care that much anyway unless you're some kind of Anderson Silva style mofo in the cage (which you probably won't be, lets face facts).

Anderson Silva definitley had charisma. Not verbally, but the way he moved and acted in the fight, you could tell this guy is a real piece of work lol

a fighter, a soccer player, a rockstar... but I just didn't had the talent or the faith to work and become good on that

I'd want to be an MLB closer who pitched knuckleballs. Get paid hella money, cool job, easy on the body, and since it's baseball, I'd have relative anonymity
Aren’t the pitchers often injured as well? I think they wreck their elbows and shoulders, maybe knees etc too..

No, I wouldn’t want to be a fighter. Don’t like the brain damage part, at all, and being all sore of all the training and grinding isn’t my cup of tea.

No unless I was so good at what I did that I took relatively little brain damage (Silva, Khabib, DJ, etc.) and still made lots of money to make the long hours of weight-cutting and training worth it.

Average fighter on the UFC roster? No thanks.

No i don't have the mentality for it. unless it's setup to where i make millions even if i lose. But i'd still have issues cause if someone touches me, talks trash, or anything even if it's in a legal event. i'm gonna be haunted by it and murder their family, them , and everyone they know to feel better about it and end up in jail.
