First off both would suck goat balls big time. But If I had to pick I'd say Sahara Desert. But it's close I don't know. I'm not a survivalist obviously. So I'd probably die in both places.

Assuming normal clothes not made for extreme temperatures and no tools of any sort

Choice is between less painful death (Antarctica, dat sweet hypothermia) or slim chance of survive (Sahara)
Sahara also offer the chance of reach the end of it and even slight less worse temperature if you can travel north enough

Picked Sahara, but both have pro and cons

At least the Sahara desert is on a continent (Africa) where there are livable conditions and other countries with a billion people in them.

Theoretically (99.99% unlikely) it is possible to walk across it and reach permanent populated settlements and get help..

But antarctica is on the edge of the world with no people at all. and the climate is even more extreme than the north pole.

I'll take the 0.000001% chance of walking across sahara and stumbling across another person..

Antarctica is guaranteed death. You can't escape it on your own.

Now the north pole would be absolutely different. If that was a choice, I'd take it. There's much more natural resources there to help me deal with the cold.

From what I've read, freezing to death is much more "pleasant" than dying in extremely hot conditions. But if we're talking about survival, I'd pick Sahara. There might be some friendly fellows in Toyota truck somewhere nearby.

>implying getting lost in Antarctica is even possible

lol Survivorman is the best, better than Bear Grylls.

It's probably more realistic, but Bear seems far more personable than Les, who clearly has a chip on his shoulder about Bear and his success.

Antartica has water at least. I’ll take freezing to death over dying of heat stroke with no water. Walking out of the sahara with no water? Good luck with that.
