Would you own a Pet Cheetah?

Dammit! Some mod is messing with my sig again...

I'm not into having pets that can severely hurt me if they wanted to. Don't even like having dogs that are half way up my leg.

Cheetahs if tame are less of a threat than dogs.

Main issue for me is the size. Dogs, cheetahs, cats, etc. They are all a threat and can snap at anytime. I'd rather have a pet around that will do minimal damage because of his size and that I can easily grab and body slam across the room with one hand.

Yeah cheetahs shouldn't even be considered big cats tbh. They are less dangerous than many dogs. They growl a lot and might sound dangerous but that's about it.

You should be required to have a second pet to have one because they apparently get depressed really easy without lots of friends.

idk man, I'm not really a fan of animals that can end you in a single moment, whenever they feel like it. Only a couple seconds of disobedience can be life changing.

Cheetahs are not in this group. You're thinking about Lions, Tigers,Bears and hyennas. Cheetahs are in the normal domesticated animal category in terms of danger.

Who in the fuck would allow their small child to be around a predator cat. That's wild, man.

Wouldn't be of much use in a deer hunt. I think a grown deer probably stomps out a cheetah. Maneuvering in a wooded area would kill the cheetahs burst of speed and it probably gets stomped out if it even reached the target. They're super delicate compared to the other cats, light bones for speed don't make for a sturdy cat. Beautiful animals though.

Don't think I'd have the capacity to care for a cheetah properly. I love cheetahs though, very beautiful cats and they seem to be far more docile than other wild cats.

Similar to what Joe Rogan said about house cats...#veganchettah, you know some Austin hipster has one of these apex predators and is trying to feed it cranberries.

I think any animal that's been with you as a baby would be a good pet. I believe a pet elephant would be great if I lived in area with a super massive lot.

I've heard good things about the cheetah's temperament, but their tongue is so rough, if it licks you, you'll bleed. And it could kill you pretty easily if it wanted to.

I'd love a pet cheetah as long as I have it from it's birth. If it ever attacked me I'd just have to lock the cheetah in a sub. Wild animals don't know bjj.

Egyptians lords used them for hunting like euros used hunting dogs

if you have the property for it, but if you want it as indoor house cat...then don't think the cheetah will be very happy

I'd rather have a pet cheetah than a bobcats. Bobcats are (as Norm would say) real jerks.
