I'm always amazed at how similar my world view is now to what it was 20 yrs ago. Seriously.

Not me. At 22, all I was concerned with was where the next party was. I could not have cared less about government or politics. When it came to women, I was far too picky. Now I'd be more interested in the experience, over sheer hotness or social status.

You are also very educated, so things that have taken me years to experience and learn, you were probably exposed to much sooner and considering where you went to school, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you were probably a lot more mature at 22 than most. Definately more mature than I was.

yeah man i know what you mean. I think certain experiences define people regardless of age. I had some serious things happen to me young that really made me who I am and shaped my character. So many young people my age seem so lost so I can see why people would assume such. I feel as though some people place too much emphasis on age in order to get some defacto authority or presumption of wisdom on their part which is not always deserved. Some people just grow up fast.

Sure, everyone is different and have different motivating factors. I'm not promoting marrying a ex whore, I'm just not condemning it. I'm pretty much a to each his own kinda guy. I've just learned over the years through my experience, that if you find a woman who rocks your world, go for it.

Haha - I was not. And it never occurred to me to join the LSJMB. Although you are now making me rethink that decision, LOL.

I learned very early on how shitty people can be and that has affected my world view greatly. That and traveling from a young age.

I'm oddly in a very similar place that I was at 22 (just more digits involved with everything I do).
