In a short recently he said (if I remember right) something about wanting a basketball court sized mat with a 10 ft border that would cause retreating fighters to be penalized and restarted in the middle.
No cage to use for getting takedowns.

I remember watching KOTC Wet and Wild years ago. It rained & the fighters were slipping. No to outdoor fights.
