Would you favor prime Fedor to beat every fighter in MMA history?

It’s not like he was impossible to take down...

The more top PRIME hw’s he faced in his prime the more likely he was going to lose at some point. He wasn’t flawless. He was incredible.

Well, yes. A streak is just a streak. It's a byproduct of being good and having things go your way a little bit. There are fights in that streak that he could have lost if something had gone the other direction. We're discussing who would be the favourite. There are a lot of guys who might beat Prime Fedor on a given night, but I don't see any who would say were the favourite to win.

For his era? Absolutely. Now? No.
man he already proved his era, which was long and glorious. We dont need you to tell us that. But every fighter in history ?
Prime Fedor was impossible to defeat.
Take the toughest final boss and add 100 times more dificulty, and thats still not as good as Prime Fedor.

Plus he fought in RINGS,so even if you came close to beating him (impossible),@gono btw woulda slid under the ring ropes and bash you with a chair

Nope, I would favor Cormier and Jones over prime Fedor.

Maybe even prime Cain and JDS.

Others like full roids Ubereem and K1 Werdum might be close.

And I am a huge fan of Fedor, he was certainly the best in his era.

Prime GSP & Anderson Silva are too small. DC, Cain, Ngannu, Werdum, Stipe, JDS, Overeem would probably win. Jones definitely wins. Old man Hendo put prime Fedor to sleep so LHW’s like Rampage, Rumble & Gustafson would definitely have a shot.

Prime Fedor is 2003-2005

You can’t cherry pick the 2 best years of his career and call it his prime. In that scenario fighters like McGregor would be the greatest of all time. Minimum 8 year window should be considered a fighters prime. The Fact is Fedor lost back to back to back at age 32, in his prime. Fedor is arguably the most overrated Fighter in MMA history.

No.

He's the GOAT based on accomplishments and he was the best of his era but the game evolves.

Would you favour prime Björn Borg to beat Federer? LOL

Love Fedor, but no. He was ahead of his time, but the game caught up with him before his prime was truly over. I don't hold his late career against him, but there are a few better fighters now. Jones and DC would both trounce prime Fedor. And I don't think they're the only ones. He's still the HW GOAT and one of the GOATs in general, because of how great he was for his era.

Nope, Prime Fedor had clear weaknesses that can be exploited and were eventually exploited. He struggled vs multiple opponents despite getting the win. He also got rocked in one punch by Fujita, whose striking is nowhere near top tier. Imagine that punch coming from a real KO artist.

Not reading all that babble. I made my point already shit stain, move around. There are several of people who would beat Fedor in his prime, 2 of whom already did-Werdum and Bigfoot. You are dismissed mate.

Move around? Several of people? Do you even english bro?
The fact that you are calling names means you did read it but you know you are outmatched and have no response. The best part is everyone here knows you are stupid and deep down, so do you.

I love Fedor as much as the next guy but his time has come and gone. And today’s crop of fighters has already shown they are too much for him. He isn’t that old but he does have a ton of fights on his record. A legend yes, but lost some big fights too.

Hell no lol

He loses to any top 5 LHW or HW and top 3 MW

Nah, if he fought prime cro cop 10x he wouldn’t win every fight

I'm bored so here's my list

HW Werdum, DC, JDS, Shane, Barnett, pre accident Mir, Cain, Stipe, Ngannou, Struve
LHW Jones, Gus, Bader, Davis, Shogun, Rampage, Machida, Shad, T Silva, Rumble, Hendo, Vitor
MW AS, Romero, Weidman, Rockhold

That's 26 fighters

A champion who went undefeated for 10 years while defeating almost every top 5 fighter from that time span is definitely not "overrated."

Don't worry, one day you'll grow to comprehend life and perhaps develop a middling comprehension of proper language.

None of "today's crop" were even competing during his heyday. If DC and cain had been competing back in 2000 they'd be crippled by now. Cain is already getting there. You mention Fedor's extensive resume but obviously don't comprehend training and injury mileage.

I disagree. Fedor fought in a time where it was OK to have nonsensical bums compete against him. His chin was never great, and I don't think he would be able to deal with someone that has a really strong top control game.
